La Prisgiona Nuragical Complex The“ Prisgiona” Nuraghe, located in the Valley of “Capichera” in Arzachena (OT), rises dominating and controlling an area of several square kilometers. Its role of prominence within this territory, is confirmed by the size and the complexity of the architectural structure. This is a complex Nuraghe, of “tholos”* typology, rather unusual in the Gallura* region.

the origins of Arzachena What is the origin of the name "Arzachena" is not certain. Among the various hypotheses, one in particular stands out, given the environmental characteristics and the wind blowing almost tirelessly, sometimes violent, sometimes calm as breeze which guarantees a beautiful blue sky, rarely with clouds, hence suggesting the interpretation of "land of the blue."

the consortium COTA, The Tourism Operators Association of Arzachena, was founded January the18th 1996, at the behest of some businessmen, in agreement with the municipality of Arzachena and the then "Azienda Autonoma di Soggiorno e Turismo" of the Municipality.
The Consortium's aim is to promote in Italy and abroad, the development and enhancement of tourism enterprises of the territory of Arzachena, promotion of local products, as well as environmental improvement and restoration , as well as technical assistance for the associated companies.
